Hey guys.

Wasnt really sure where to post this, btu figured it was the most likely place.

As some of you may be aware, I own a 2003 Nissan 350z.

The achilles heal of this car just so happens to be Nissans terrible electric Window motors.

I always had a chuckle at this because my S15 200SX I used to own, never had a glimmer of any problems in that department.

anyway, this morning I went to take off, lowered my windows, got to work then BINGO my passenger side window wouldnt do back up!

So yeah, took her to nissan today, and they want $640 for the passenger side window motor! plus another 150 to fit it! jeeeeeeeeeeebus!

If anyone happens to know any wreckers around where they live, that may specvalise in sports cars, I would be very appreciative of your help, as I could possible get a motor at a fraction of the price. I can find some on ebay for around $250.00 but the thing is they are american and would not only charge a mint to get over here, their left hend motor is their drivers side, which is probably a stronger/different motor as it controls both driver and passenger side windows. and their right hand side passenger motor may not be compatible with the left hand side passenger motor of the Aus spec.....

HELP PLZ lol

cheers

Stido.

I test drove a 350z a couple off weeks ago and the drivers side window wouldnt work, the owner told me to give it hit just above the arm rest and bingo down she came. So you might want to check to see its not a loose wire.

My two cents.

By what I have read (briefly) the Nissan 350z coupe and Infiniti G32 Coupe are the only 2 with the same motor (could very well be wrong here)
